What do you guys think of my new contact info page. I would love any feedback, particularly if anyone can think of some more useful information I could add:

jeffreyfreeman.me/contact/

( FYI it is based on so you can view my posts right fromt he fediverse and follow the page from there if anyone wants)

@freemo I have no taste in design but looked anyway - syncleus.com/ gave Potential Security Threat warning.

Otherwise - the heading-levels (e.g., Email -> Personal etc) were maybe too subtle for me to immediately see there's a hierarchi there (and not a missing line). I'd also get confused reading from left to right, since I don't really know what the numbers in the left-hand column mean, but that could be different for your audience of course!

@TEG syncleus is down right now, will be back up soon.

Which "numbers in the left hand color" you mean the pgp keys?

@freemo Yeah indeed, the PGP / GPG column. It's the first thing my eyes go to and it wouldn't mean anything to me (as an ignorant sort of person). Depends on who the audience is whether it's a possible issue!

@TEG I think its ok if it doesnt mean anything to you.. but does that lack of understanding cause you issues in understanding the rest of the information?

@freemo Not in itself, but it requires a bit of effort/willing to disengage and then go on to see what the right-hand side means, and then go, oh, I understand email addresses. (Also since the formatting is the same so you really have to parse the content for a moment to know it's not just more things you don't understand.) So it's just that you might lose some eyeballs there.

@TEG I think thats ok. Anyone who goes there is likely actively looking for a particular piece of information like my email. I think im ok witht he casual passerby not caring.

@freemo very, very cool! Part of me says "I want one!" and then part of me says, "it looks like too much work..."

@freemo I don't like the layout. In particular, I will put the most important info first, on the left.

I will group sections by personal, work, project, hobby, etc... and not by emails, websites and so on.

@freemo on mobile, the key fingerprints are too wide and cause line breaks in places that make things hard to parse. Perhaps this would be clearer if you formatted them as two lines, each of five blocks, each of four characters, instead of all ten blocks on a single line.

@khird yea i havent addressed responsiveness just yet... but thanks for the catch.

I will make it so when the screen gets too small it changes formatting yea.

@freemo very nicely done, I would totally contact you if only I had any reason to do so!
