I decided i need more suspenders today.. im going through my old pics and realize the double ended suspenders just look sooooooo much nicer. I think im going to do the button type and convert all my pants.

@AlphaKiloPapa Ha, fair point. I started using a delivery based laundry service for that.

@AlphaKiloPapa

For regular laundry it is 1$ per pound including folding (or if you include hangers they will hang it). Dry cleaning is a little over $5 per item for normal items like shirts and pants.

@freemo That's not bad. Your time is probably worth more than that.

@AlphaKiloPapa To be honest ive been so extremely busy I was getting to the point where days I could dress down id literally wear $1 shirts for a day or two then throw it away. It was so wasteful though so i needed to find a better solution. I've been working 80 hour week, so time to do laundry is non existent right now.

@freemo I hauled away 10 cubic yards of ruined designer clothes from a HUD home eviction. At least you were throwing away your own money...

@AlphaKiloPapa They were super cheap to buy, even if i can afford it im not going to be so rediculous as to throw away dress clothes :)

@freemo I've worn the same shirt, literally every day since April, because I found a cheap shirt I like and can destroy and just toss lol

@AlphaKiloPapa Its not a bad way to go honestly... i mean if you get a few days use out of it it might even save you money in man hours.

@freemo They are surprisingly durable. Only thrown out 3 in almost 2 years.

@AlphaKiloPapa honestly i find shirts, even cheap ones, tend to stand up for a while as they dont tend to get much abuse.. its the pants that need to be solid to last.

@freemo A good pair of pants is worth the price usually. Same goes for boots.

@AlphaKiloPapa

Agreed, ive bought a lot of cheap pants and spent more per wearing on them then i ever did on the expensive ones.

@freemo How's your weight loss program going by the way?

@sergeant

Thanks for asking. The Semaglutide, especially now that im at max dose, has been extremely effective. I need to weigh myself since I got home but im somewhere in the ballpark of 50 lbs lost so far with relatively minimal effort.

@sergeant Well, hard to say....

So my expiernce was while on TRT it was hugely helpful.

The issue is there were some problems too, fairly minor. So i did a test, i stopped taking it for 2 days then did a test in the morning both before and after a dose (at this point ihad moved from injections to cream for like 1.5 months)... To my shock my levels of testosterone were through the roof, over the 2500 limit. So since then i cut out all testosterone and plan to retest in a few days.

One theory is my original low-T results was a false positive. I discovered recently that biotin supplements can interfere with testosterone tests giving false positive results. Since i was on a high dose of that at the time of my first tes tit may have been a false reuslt. I will retest soon.

Regardless i can say when on the testosterone i did objectively feel much better, my sleep improved (huge), as did my energy. Off of it I feel worse. That said I do want to try to hit a sweet spot assuming I need it still at all.

@freemo Well, once you've started TRT you don't come off unless you're planning on having kids.

Sweet spot for most men is somewhere between 800-1200 nanogram p/Dl.

If you feel much better on TRT, you should proceed.

Did you know that some clinics treat war veterans (PTSD) with TRT?
Those vets benefit a lot from it.

@freemo the trick is converting the necktie in a secret additional suspender πŸ™‚
