Finished writing my second penpal letter to a new person in France. I think I already see my handwriting improving through this exercise I think I'll keep you to it. Also still digging this deep black ink. My monogram has improved too!

on that point I agree entierly. But personally I think mastodon should be rewritten for non-blocking instances since it could leverage a lot of advantages under that paradigm.

@robotcarsley To be more accurate you are subjugating their freedom to 1) decide for themselves who they feel is or is not a nazi 2) follow those on the server who are not nazis while blocking just the individuals who are nazis.

BTW #QOTO is a no-block instance. So I agree with the merit here but I also recognise as a whole people pick servers due to their blocking policies or lack thereof.

Well things like being able to migrate freely between servers and take ytour followers and toots with you.The act of becoming federated and relays, te very need to even know a persons home server, all tese things could be addressed if we no longer cared about admins running things manually and choosing who to include

All of those things could be designed in more effective and automated ways if the shared blocklist aspect wasnt central anymore.
