@therealpennyfortheguy Sure, I have no issue with self defense. All the incidents I witnessed were Antifa provoking attacks against people who were not in any way violent.

@therealpennyfortheguy @Scarabeater@anticapitalist.party Umm, none. In america carrying a knife on you is perfectly legal. There are a few exceptions to that of course, and its state by state. But for the most part it isnt usually considered a crime aside from very large knives.

But like I said since I witnessed it first and hand and en masse twice, the assertion that no one in Antifa would do that seems clearly incorrect to me.

The water itself was amazing to see. There are springs coming out of the ground causing a part of the river to be crystal clear. But it mixes with another part of the river that is very murkey and brown. It usually forms a visible "wall" between the two when you dive. Most amazing thing I've ever seen.

I can say that the Antifa groups usually met privately before hand (of which ive managed to join in on a few such meetings with 2 separate groups at different times). In both cases they encouraged people to bring weapons (such as knives) and seemed very eager to engage in violence. I'd be rather skeptical of the idea that the entire group were putting on a show and they were really cops.

Neither of the groups I mentioned however were the ones who actually engaged in violence that I witnessed and mentioned above. I dont know if these groups followed through as I promptly left in both cases.
