1/ I'm not understanding why simply me and others asking on hashtag what's happening + me directly messaging you, asking you questions + me asking mods... DIDN'T F-ING WORK for many questions !

And then you give me a message like you're back again claiming you were never gone. Just poor.

Don't reply to this - it's honestly without emotion now and a waste of my time and yours too if messages to you don't even work.

And now suddenly you're back which you can see on your own timeline a clear gap in any posts and lack of updates about upgrades (OR do send me a couple of link examples to upgrade updates IF I missed them).

Not good. We can leave this part about communication and "save your work" in replying.

2/ GRATEFULNESS DECREASED
Like I said to Bonifart, Free bad work is still bad work. The lack of contact / management is still bad work,.. IT'S NOT ABOUT BEING ENDLESSLY GRATEFUL REGARDLESS OF POINTS with things unsaid endlessly / not working things when asked - so I'm becoming less grateful accordingly.

I HOPE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN THEY SEE PEOPLE SWEAR ETC that it's realtive / proportional to being almost ignored or just enough replied like "What we were always here, it's you, you did talk to us at all or mention us in posts" lol.

It's not even about moving to another instance or hopping to the next unresponsive manager who disappears or claims they've been keeping people informed and working on things almost invisibly compared to months back when it was daily...

(oh I don't doubt you did something... but it's the way it's done).

Because I have 33K followers, there is a lot of noise. Messages can and do get lost. I am also busy and if i check in less its more likely to get lost in the noise.

This is why we have other channels which I have shared before, specifically matrix where you can chat live with our system administrators and other hired staff if you should ever have a question and cant reach me.

@freeschool @khird @barefootstache Sure, well we have several minor patch style updates over the last few months to address critical security features. We dont typically announce those as they dont have down time (but can follow them on the matrix chat).

The the big-big update that was 5 in one has had 4 out of 5 working on the beta server. We hired a full time system admin for the non-profit that includes QOTO and he has been working on and off to get that 5th patch applied, at which point all 5 will carry over to the live server. It was a huge development effort and of the 2 attempts we made we had to roll back and fix bugs that has delayed it. It appears fairly close to ready now and we are hoping/expect this next attempt to work as we fixed most of the bugs (means the tests were doing their job).

As of the moment the last update on QOTO is the top priority for the admin and I asked him to put all other priorities aside. We also are finalizing the process of hiring as second admin to help out since he is a bit stretched between QOTO and all the other duties we have for him.

The non-profit that takes care of QOTO as you know started hiring jan 1st of this year, we are at about 20 peoplke right now. So during that time I have had one other person, a developer, developing some javascript widgets to use on a status page that isnt up yet. IT will be fedipage based (so a static blog style site but with AP support so it can be followed directly from QOTO or any account). It includes several widgets as well as manual posts that will allow our admins to regularly update users and the widgets will allow you to follow the ticket progress and versions as well. So the new status page, once up, should give an excellent overview of where update progress is in the future and should allow our users to better estimate our timeline on features and updates.
