Platforms for People on a Mission... how about some more collaboration on Mastodon?

I saw another website which inspired me about what's possible on Mastodon.

I pasted the ideals below to show what I'd actually like to experience more often on Mastodon and I think all it needs is someone credible to collect the skills and put them together even loosely.

Sound ok right and probably what we have on Mastodon.

So I think we could work together the same way.

Hylo' software might be trying to do what ultimately a person or leader needs to do anyway whichever way you try because mostly a person needs to assist other human individual to grow things which forms a group when continued in a circle or chain of work.

I may judge the software's intentions completely wrong but for my wants I'm focussing on doing things together regardless of what they meant (the text was the inspiration to confirm what I already wanted and present here)

So people mostly do it themselves but while having a trusted person (nothing big to trust just an organiser) to overview and lead.

I think even a whole instance could get involved if the admin had enough time.

So the format would be generally 'do whatever you love to do' but in a more organised way...

And 'leaders' are really 'lovers of projects' who can pick a worthy project and loosely pick others to lead micro-parts of it or even randomly stick parts together according to whoever is able to do! Could be random / ad-hoc / art style work! Just whatever if there is already will and skill for it!

I don't think I'd be someone people respect (from a lack of aesthetics, technical limits (more aiming for humans than tech), and people's need and conditioning for aesthetics or needing to know what you dog's name is otherwise treating you as suspect- but someone respected on instances to give even false fascia would be enough to do good work that checks itself as it goes...

COPY CAPITALISM BETTER?

I guess capitalism has done well to organised and give reason to funnel things (into more capitalism) but I think we could do a bit of fun and serious work our selves....

NOT JUST NUMBERS BUT FEELINGS ALSO IN THE EQUATION

Life isn't about numbers only if you're human. although some would like that in order to maintain order.

Life and living is about other words like how happy we are and level of human feelings related to things like;
happiness, consent, emotional feelings, personal direction, ...

These are commonly excluded or avoided with numbers (since it's naturally a different format for measuring) and used by mankind in order to gain leverage including 'scale up' things as exchange if excluding those things to get power at the end instead.

So for example, how happy we are and satisfied with life is more important than specific numbers written anywhere.

OPTIONAL / EXTRA READING (IF INTERESTED)

And often people can be happy with less if it has other human sentiments, including progress without just numbers are outlooks on life and people.

As part of nature we all value many things quite highly, but to put numbers on it is a mistake or number-only considerations are in the spectrum of extraction / taking only / not caring.

Numbers can be therefore relative to not caring and key for many past and present regimes using numbers and currency to effectively extract from culture, convert it to numbers and not give it back as anything vaguely cultural (unless you like money / more numbers more than the list of your own feelings and value of happiness / being happy, giving consent, having emotional feelings considered... etc).

If you find something you don't like, it means there is something to learn about it.

The giveaway is that your very feelings that exist when you see or hear about it - this means you have crossed wires or unsolved things about it... which often with 1 good person actually can make better sense and even enjoy it (even with bad sides).

Often we put things as a big representation of what is micro choices... so past the offending names or triggers of Facebook, Bitcoin, Google is other smaller things we still need / want to solve and that is more healthy as the focus.

I as a guide, it's you mostly your helping yourself -just don't blame me progress that may hurt as a natural domino of feelings, that this helps shift as part of the process and healthy at the end.

When I young exactly 16 I think after high school I remember being in the kitchen and looking out to the garden and my dad said:

"From here either you have to work or go to college... you can't just not do one of those things like take an adventure"... to skill up etc...

This picture comes to mind to what I said in my head (and know college wasn't much better and what little I would do there also)

I took the easy way out to college only to delay working... and maybe even a few jobs at some time are good but the whole things is bad- right from banks to upwards to mini bosses everywhere like a bad computer game with too many bosses copy and pasted on the screen.

But this picture says it all for the wrath I had in my head for people suggesting to me the weak game of playing their game called 'work' - what a fucking joke.

To constantly lose by joining their 'team'. They have designed it well. I respect that - NOW FEEL MY WRATH........DAAAAAD!!!! 😡
(It's not easy for parents but it's not a good way out to not in not undoing some of this stuff as much as possible and from the beginning like taking one big adventure after high school and dying while resting on your sword of principle).

I'M BUSY / SIMILAR PHRASES ABOUT TIME + TIPS

It's not just being busy, it's about:

- believing in other people more often
(for many reasons; for standing against capitalism, for the love of it together learning etc)

- having faith in improving yourself or the other person (sometimes both)

- making time, planning it + INCREMENT
(you have years ahead no excuse even to read 10 pages)

- if exhausted mentally plan to find your best time in the day

- do not be too polite or wait indefinitely
(to make space like pushing past a crowded corridor of people, don't always wait for them to leave or expect time to come to you! You command time!)

- ask me as backup for specific scenarios :>
