This seems like an horrendous idea..
Doug Ford's #Ontario government wants to expand a licensing regime that allows residents to unleash dogs in an enclosed area to teach them how to hunt & kill captive coyotes, foxes & rabbits, This includes contests where dogs chase terrified coyotes around an enclosed pen.
Hunters say there is a growing demand for the dog sport, while animal advocates call it a cruel practice for the captive prey.

I was today years old when I learned that there may be a relationship between pollen counts and viral respiratory infections. Pollen impairs the immune response to viruses, and viruses may also be able to hitchhike deep into the airways on pollen grains. High pollen concentrations in March 2020 may have facilitated the spread of COVID during the first pandemic wave 🤧
@chrisjmcclure I shake my head as to why people think Alberta conservatives are fiscally responsible. We have a Heritage Trust Fund that when adjusted for inflation has not grown since 1979. Norway has 1 TRILLION in the bank after being in O & G for only 30 years compared to Alberta's 100! How is that fiscally prudent?
Gordon Lightfoot has died at the age of 84.
Calling him a Canadian icon or legend is an understatement.
He was one of our greatest singer-songwriters.
Born in Orillia, Ontario on Nov. 17, 1938, he had several #1 albums & songs.
He won 16 Junos.
RIP to a legend.
Rest in Peace, good sir.

Last #game we played #today was #BusyBusyBakeShop. In this dice-based #cooperativegame you roll to determine which #donut 🍩 to add in an attempt to make a row of 4 before the cheeky mouse can steal 3! The tongs are a nice #dexteritygame element. The patterns allow for some #strategy but fun with 4 y olds regardless of whether they strategize or not. #parenting #boardgames #kids #rainyday
Another good #boardgame we played #today was #wildcraft - the #herbalism co-operative game. I thought the 4 y olds would be too young, but they liked being able to use the helper cards and matching the plant symbols to the trouble cards to solve problems. #cooperation #games #cooperative #plants #rainyday

If you’re #kids enjoy telling #stories, eeboo has a great #game called Fairytale Story Elements where you spin to get your choice of villains, heroes, magical helpers and objects. This was a great treasure we inherited from @jjvenky. Not sure if it is still for sale, but a really popular creative game in our house. #boardgames
@girls_can we used to like Kinder Catan and Gula Gula. I played a simple version of Royal Turf with them too, because they liked rolling dice and moving the little horses

@girls_can My 8-year-old nieces had a lot of fun with Spot It! at our place recently. More pattern-matching than dexterity, but the speed and pointing aspects kept them engaged for probably 20-30 min over many rounds.
