Sorry I haven't had much time this weekend to keep up with the #Covid19Cymru figures here.
Yesterday was a very bad day - with 21 deaths reported. One might immediately guess that these represented an unreported backlog - and one would be correct (Cwm Taf Morgannwg apparently being the culprits). Nonetheless, it still comes as a bit of a shock, and is the highest daily death figure reported since 13th May.
Today is more normal (for recent times) - 2.

In terms of #Covid19Cymru new cases, they are at the second lowest since last Sunday. Which merely tells us that fewer cases get reported on a Sunday. It's a modest increase on last Sunday (467, up from 432).

In Gabon, this selfless 22 year old saved the life of a little girl caught in a fire, he died afterwards due to 3rd degree burns. He was not a fireman, he was not a policeman, he was just a hero. His name was Freddy Mougambou.

The #Covid19Cymru cases continue to rise, with a new record of 766 today. This really isn't good, and our government needs to get on top of this with action, now.

I just got what I presume to be a scam call about missing jury duty. He hung up when I started asking verifying questions, but this guy was good -- regionally appropriate accent, hemmed and hawed as if going through paperwork, etc. Watch out!
