I dont think it looks nearly as pretty in a remote instances feed, I think it looks like an ordinary link in that case (still works but not as nice)
Only servers that will see it pretty like we see it will be fedibird and misskey varients.
@freemo @design_RG @realcaseyrollins Yeah I haven't used the web interface much since Tusky got full-length toots. It doesn't look great here - much like those twitter crossposts littered with "RT" on the federated timeline.

Yea sadly tusky is designed for vanilla mastodon features mostly (the extra toot length is the only non-vanilla feature it supports that I know of). They might add support for it at some point but sadly for now most of these features will only be availible to you on the web interface. Not much i can do about that. Its all available int he API though and ready for tusky to implement should they want.
