And realized I did not provide an #introduction. I am a professor and chair of #phamacolgy and #toxicology at the #Universityofutah where I study #epilepsy. I focus on therapy development and the role of #glia in #neuronal hyperexcitability. I lean very much to the #left. I support the #LGBTQ community and my family members. I adopt dogs from shelters. #BLM. I #hike the #wasatchmountains for peace and quiet and especially love the #desert and #oregonbeaches.

Feeling energized after spending the last several days at the American Epilepsy Society Annual meeting in #nashville - great #neuroscience great new #therapies and a chance to connect with my #epilepsy colleagues again after the pandemic years!
