@lupyuen Legacy JS... probably from programmers who had not a clue what they were doing...! You have my sympathies. :gonk:

@igeljaeger Totally awesome. I will play with it this weekend.

@igeljaeger Hopefully that will work with some of the other Battlenet games. .

@igeljaeger Ooohhhh... let me check that out... because I hate having to leave Linux. Danke.

@igeljaeger I play Diablo III and will play IV when it comes out... alas, I had no success with getting that to run under Linux in the past.

I also do Civilization VI occasionallly, and that does run under Linux.

I recently installed the amazing RTX 2070 and it is damned fast. Don't see any games supporting RT ray tracing yet...

@igeljaeger I have a dual-boot system and will boot into that crappy Windows 10 to play games I can't get to run on Linux. Wine has come a long way, though. Still can't handle everything, alas...

But Steam games are supporting Linux more and more.

@igeljaeger Ach so!!! Yes, I love it Free as in Freedom, not free Bier... though I like both!!! 😀

@igeljaeger Oh. Sysadmin. Yep. I saw „Linux enthausiast" and just assumend you do some programming. :D

Hopefully, you are much better than a particular Devs Ops type I worked with in the past. :) And yes, I know there's a difference between the two.

@igeljaeger I've been to Stuttgart too many times -- to interact with Daimler. There are some really cool towns nearby.

@lupyuen personally, I think JavaScript is a horrible language never intended for what it's being used for today. Hopefully WebAssembly will save our bacon.

@igeljaeger I created the „Scheiße Flaggge" when the terroists ran over people at one of our Weihnachtsmarken hier. :( Ich bin ein Berliner. Immer.
