Finally replaced the lcd on my #pinephone . Now I have questions about the underlying pcb...
Notes:::
-be careful peeling the black square thermal sticker; the ribbons underneath are stuck to it
-the smaller ribbon connectors with a small black part pointed towards the inside-> black part flips up
--the top ribbon connector opposite end of the camera gets tucked in before putting in the board or the aux jack will get in the way.
-lcd screen comes with a spare vol up/down/pwr connector and another black thermal sticker
-use xacto knife to gently peel off vibrator on the bottom right next to the mic.
Finally got my #pinephone lcd and screen protector. Don't know why it took 1 day to drive 1 hour, but at least it's here...
Dinner today:: reheated day-old cheese pizza
-first, I added just seasoned hot dog slices and Sriracha before reheating
--it resulted in plenty of flavor but still tasted preheated
-second, I tried a plain cheese pizza with added cheese and butter on the crust
--the crust improved and wasn't so tough, but still tasted somewhat preheated
--the body of the pizza was fully recovered thanks to the added cheese
++Will have to redo first attempt with added cheese first before topping with condiments
++Butter has had a positive effect on the crust, but still needs improvement. Perhaps an alternate method is still possible?
My lunch today:::
-Mung bean noodles
-green onion strips
-white onion shreds
-boiled whole mushrooms
-firm tofu
-sriracha , cayenne pepper, red pepper, paprika
==============≠====================
-let bean noodles soak for 30 min
-meanwhile boil whole mushrooms
-fry tofu in pan using olive oil
-after tofu starts to brown around edges, add onion strips
-add noodles to pot(should be boiling by now); time it for 15 min
-add tofu/onion slices to pot; stir the pot
-In the last 5 min, add green onion and spices; stir the pot
