Just when I was getting depressed about my job hunting, #redhat steps up and gets back to me about my application. I am now officially having a good day even if I don't get the job! It feels nice having someone acknowledge you.
This case has been a breeding ground of nothing but memes. As serious as it should be taken, it has instead just been turned into a tv drama. Any attempt to make an actual movie or tv show from this will flop in comparison.
Again, wtf.

#TIL git notes - sometimes you need to leave an off-topic note on the mailing list for the maintainer about your patch (which should not appear in the commit message). You can just write the message at the end of the mail, but it requires manual edits and can't survive across revisions.
Solution: git notes add <commit-id>
Then, git format-patch <commit> --notes
Now the note is automatically included in the generated patches, and can be mailed directly. #git #Linux
Yet another day of people outside my current co. not wanting to employ me.
It's been a while, but is this how it feels to be insecure when going out on a date? This feels horrible. I know I have value- I just wish it was immediately justified as though so that I can keep that confidence.
Or maybe I'm too immature as to consider living a constant unstable living with possible underlings depending on me...
