>>Maybe I just haven't learned enough how things work here, so am I correct that searching for posts only works within the server you joined on, and *not* across servers?
Incorrect

>>That would seem to make what server you join more consequential, at least for finding content, than is what is being said Out There.
Yes, it is- but not for that reason.

>>I don't want to migrate multiple times but this server feels a little janky, but it's hard to tell just how consequential the server decision is.
You could always make an alt account. Many users do. A few even have mirror accounts.

In the attached example, you will see that in my search of "Nintendo", there are posts/accounts from other servers.

@LouisIngenthron
Boosting posts allows other people to see what you see. Favoriting or Bookmarking a post doesn't boost it to the top of the feed.

I'm not going to ask who he is because I don't care.

What does a clock say when it's trying to tell you a secret?

"Psssstt!!"

@VD15
No you're not. You're seeding dissent against orthodox reality, you treacherous demon!

@skells
Your conjecture does not favor any resolute outcome of this possibly trivial manner I probably hold no interest in nor hold any stake in participating in any meaningful manner.

I bid ye adieu.

I have no life.

I am insane in the membrane.

Does that grant me diplomatic impunity in Ireland?

@travis
Fun backstory- it's because of projects like my keyboard that I got my first job in a full-IT company and my career actually started moving forward. I learned a lot by simply putting together my first keyboard and would highly recommend anyone to do so if they want to learn more as well.

Some skills honed::
-soldering/resoldering
-firmware flashing
-continuity and general component testing with voltmeter

Other skills can be exampled through it but those were the biggest takeaways in my interview. Though again, there are setups that allow a new user to not have to learn such in order to get started.

Imo it's worth it regardless of Twitter- but the former notion is more than sufficient enough.

Better to live in a box of your making than confine yourself to the edges of a soapbox of another's design.

@elevynn
No, you misunderstand. They own trees that stay in the yards all year. It doesn't go anywhere and continues to grow and shed tree debris everywhere. Then come the the holidays - they decorate them and put fake presents under them.

Trees are too expensive to keep purchasing just to watch it die over the span of 20-25 days.
