@lupyuen @freemo #Haskell would be a perfect choice for this purpose. It naturally fits all the related needs. Describing grammar, parsers and relationships using builtin generic mechanisms (Monads, Applicatives, etc.) is pleasure.

@lupyuen Actually I already wrote a library that does exactly that (but not in haskell)... it is active and has some good contributors too.. maybe you'd want to join in :)

@lupyuen I've been having a hankering lately to code something in haskell... I only ever do snippets and never can find a good excuse for doing a whole projhect in haskell... I really need to change that.
