Time for my #introduction

I'm from Brazil, and currently I'm a computer science PhD student in Canada, researching #simulation #seriousGames #gamification #learningManagementSystems #virtualReality and other fun stuff.

I've got involved with #openSource through #linux around 1998, and I like to contribute back to the community (usually helping out with translations).

My interests involve (but aren't limited to) #comics #movies #3d #games #gamedev #science #scienceFiction #programming #rpg

Living in the Forest of Dean in the UK with my Swedish wife, teenage daughter and a chocolate Labrador (my wife's #hearingdog).

Love music, play #guitar, enjoy tech, read a lot, write quite a lot.

Day job: I run a #Linux support and consultancy business.

Run a weekly music show on #Mixcloud. Wrote my own playout software in #python.

Weekends: I do a bit of #gliding including teaching it.

This account is for the LinkML project. LinkML is an open #DataModeling framework that allows you to easily add #semantics to your data. It can be used to build #DataStandards and #DataDistionaries that are linked to #Ontologies.

The LinkML framework also comes with a number of tools for a range of activities, from generating code (primarily #python), and interchanging between #JSON/#YAML, #RDF, and #RelationalDatabases.

Officially erased my bird site presence this morning and with it my associated contacts. I haven't seen a wide-scale migration yet of the #weather / #wxtwitter community, which accounted for half of my Twitter contacts.

As a sort of final #introduction post and calling card for the weather community, one of my primary uses of Twitter was to share my #WeatherPhotography and #storm reports. I'll probably continue to share weather and #climate content here! CW's as needed. Some of my faves below.

Hubzilla is also a blog based on wordpress (that are spread on the fediverse)
Networking should have be wrote (micro-)blogging instead
Lemmy is a specific case as an alternative to Reddit.
Dokieli and Olkiare missing here, they are for scholar publication/review.
Beside Matrix ejabberd (jabber/XMPP) has also fediverse bridge

Is there someone that would create a itch.io like Fediverse tool, now there are lot of gamedev ? Itch.io is more and more restrictive on log in and only allow Youtube video.
