@Pat I seem to miss the point with this one. How so 'no one has ever dug a hole the ground'? Is this some trick wording of the English language?

@trinsec you see if you grab the planet by the hypothetical hole you dug and stretch it into a humongous disk, said disk will no longer have said hole in it. This is the superior language of the higher form of intelligence, that us mortals are not allowed to question.

Don't even need to go that far. a "dent" in a solid sphere isnt a hole by any technical measure.

@freemo yes father, indeed it is the god's word, a crater is not a giant hole in the ground, it just a dent. Caves, pits and wells are also just dents.
