Podcast recommendations?

I'm open to a wide variety of things, but looking for something other than "two white dudes have unscripted opinions" or "interviewing people about their creative journeys".

@peterdrake

How about "two potheads have unscripted opinions"...😂

Do you want just audio or are you also open to video?

(Or was your toot just rhetorical?)

@Pat I'd want audio -- I listen when I'm doing housework or driving.

Not rhetorical!

@peterdrake My current favorite is probably the @seanmcarroll podcast Mindscape. He's a theoretical physicist who does interdisciplinary work in philosophy, so those topics feature frequently, but there's also an eclectic mix of other topics that interest him.

I suppose it is sometimes two white men having unscripted opinions, but it's generally directed at specific topics in which at least one of them is an expert, and a fair number of his guests are not white men.

@peterdrake The NoSleep Podcast is pretty cool if you like hearing creepy stories people post to r/NoSleep. They have a variety of people doing the VA work. If you like True Crime stuff, the True Crime Society is interesting. If you like learning some history about US causing modern historical issues. Then I would highly advise Blowback. Season 1 is about both Iraq wars, season 2 is about Cuba, and season 3 is about the Korean War. And if you like some conspiracy stuff, True Anon is both funny and has some more serious takes on stuff (it initially was about the Epstein stuff but has gone into some abusive cults and JFK things).
