I'm curious about the car that hit me. Given that they sped off afterward with a flat tire, I'm guessing they crashed or ditched the car minutes later. Is there some kind of log of vehicle incidents in Portland, OR?

Converting a LEGO concept to a drawing; attempt 1. I haven't done any real shading in art for a long time and feel there's room for improvement there, but not bad for a first try!

I want to start doing more art for my board/card games so this is practice.

The 10-second delay on my Gmail send just saved me from sending a typo misspelling someone's name.

Set it up for yourself if you haven't already.

Lewis & Clark College Fire Arts is doing a show!

I'll be doing double fireknife to "Raphael's Final Act" from the Baldur's Gate 3 soundtrack.

Got hit-and-run by someone who was probably in a stolen car and/or under the influence of recreational pharmaceuticals. Damage to my car seems to be nothing but plastic and electronics, but we'll see what the shop says.

Sigh. I guess I'll relax by playing the video game I just started, which is *checks notes* Grid Legends.

Watched The Legend of Tarzan on Netflix:

I was standing at our kitchen window this morning, looking up at our back garden (we're on a hill) only to see next-door's cat wandering by looking like she had a kitten in her mouth.

Looking closely, I realised she was lugging a pair of men's boxers while making the "Look at the wonderful thing I am bringing you. There will probably be entrails!" noise.

She'd obviously jumped the fence from our other (catless) neighbour. And was scampering home, through our garden, to her house on the other side.

She disappeared off into her garden and we got on with the morning, until we spotted her with a sock. She was obviously killing our neighbour's washing line and taking the spoils victoriously home.

This explains a mysterious mystery that we've been experiencing in the 2 months we've been in this little #newzealand house. Firstly, it was a slipper that went missing. There are 3 cats that enjoy our garden, and we weren't sure who'd taken it.

But lately, We've lost socks, undies, dish cloths and a T-shirt. And since we've spent the last 5 years living out of 2 small suitcases, we kind of know what we have, and really notice when stuff wanders off into the void.

But now we know the culprit!

She's fluffy, she's cuddly! She sneaks in through our second-floor window sometimes and burrows and our covers and she's an undie thief!

So now we're left with the question: Do we go next door to ask for our stuff or let sleeping #cats lie?🤔 (She IS very very adorable.)

It's #WorldBookDay today (but only in the UK & Ireland, bizarrely), so here's a reminder of the chemistry behind new and old book smells! compoundchem.com/2014/06/01/ne
