I'm delighted to find that #LXC and #LXD now work effortlessly and flawlessly out of the box in the current #AlpineLinux, v. 3.17.

Even launching unprivileged containers as a non-root user works without error and with minimal configuration effort.

As nearly as I can tell, this makes Alpine the only linux distro other than Ubuntu that this is true of. And it does it with its standard repositories, none of your snaps nonsense. Nice to finally have an ultra-lightweight, systemd-free distro for hosting Linux #Containers.

Y'know what really sucks? When you're walking along some wooded country lane, and you come to a nice village, and then some white-bearded elder with an unfortunate touch of divine insight sees you, points a trembling, bony finger and cries out
