@ciccillo Io sto a Santiago, i pellegrino si riconoscono subito dai turisti. Vengono molti più turisti che pellegrini. L'affluenza di turisti è problematica, ma non troppo. Qui lo stanno vendendo come un problema fondamentale della città, dato che ci sono turisti gli affitti sono cari e c'è inflazione e non si può dormire.
Per come lo vedo, d'estate ci sono moltissimi turisti e può dare un po' fastidio a volte non riuscire a passeggiare per le strade del centro, però è anche vero che la città si svuota perché tutti vanno in vacanza, quindi non ci vedo enormi problemi...
Gli affitti sono Carucci comparati con il resto della regione, però questo mi sembra soprattutto un problema dovuto ad una pessima gestione locale ed un essere restii a costruire e rinnovare case dopo il 2008. La gente si cruccia di 800 appartamenti ad uso turistico, ma passeggiando per il centro la metà delle palazzine sono vuote e sfitte.

E poi dopo tutto, la città vive di turismo. Vogliono mettere una tassa turistica che dovrebbe scoraggiare i turisti a venire. È un concetto assurdo secondo me. I turisti che vengono i soldi per la tassa turistica li hanno, i pellegrini spesso no.

Ciò che mi dà fastidio è la grossa guerra al turismo senza però offrire un'alternativa. A Santiago non c'è industria: c'è l'università, l'ospedale e la cattedrale. Se parliamo di ridurre il turismo, allora dovremmo pianificare una espansione industriale e cercare di dare lavoro a tutti i camerieri schiavizzati che si troverebbero senza lavoro al perdere turisti.

Però alla fine ti rendi conto che è bellino perché ti fa smadonnare, se non vuoi smadonnare ti installi qualunque altra distribuzione e se proprio vuoi l'ultimissima versione di qualche software te lo compili, che tanto mica ti serve tutto aggiornatissimo.
Ti risparmi un po' di madonne e soprattutto un bel po' di dita incrociate ogni volta che fai un aggiornamento.

Negli stati uniti Musk si è comprato un posto nel governo, ed il governo Trump ha eletto il proprietario di un'azienda aerospaziale privata a dirigente della NASA.
Ma non ce l'hanno l'antitrust gli americani?

@graemewinter @xtaldave @markus Yes, they are doing it to make money. But I have used extensively AF2 and I feel they did greatly help me in my research. I believe they gave back to the community AF2 which is already a huge thing, as well as the idea that it can be improved.

They are letting academics make limited use of AF3.
I don't feel like they misbehaved in any way.
Sure, they could have just considered AF an academic project and kept it fully public.

I don't know, I see a bunch of IT companies now trying to move part of their business towards drug design.
Google, nvidia, microsoft.

I can understand they want to use it as some competitive advantage over the others.
I still believe this will be beneficial to the community in general.

The Nature article is an advertisement, that is clear. Probably should not be on Nature itself for what it is worth. But on the other side, we may give a little leeway to the people who did bring great innovations to the field.

Good afternoon, I'm searching some advice for some software to manage the tasks of a small group.
I have no problems regarding mine specifically, I use TaskWarrior and that is alright.

However, I'd like some simple way to note down which things have to be done overall by the group and which ones are being worked on. It would also be nice if it tracked a little bit how long these things took to complete.

I want something simple, most of the things we just talk to each other. Just not to forget what everyone is doing.
I don't plan this to be keeping track of everything everyone is doing, just important things which may take a while to complete.

I was looking at stuff like Trello and Asana. I'd prefer a tool which is free, but if some significant advantages are available I can pay.

Do you have any advice? Thanks!
