Io sono molto distratto ma ho saputo oggi che in italia i giovani vip di youtube fanno video con milioni di visualizzazioni in cui pubblicizzano i bandi per entrare nell'esercito mascherando tutto da challange trendy.
Lo scrivo per la presunzione minorile che magari queste cose le sapete meno di me.
So che è stato approvato da poco, ma non sarebbe forse il caso di rifare e ammodernare un po' l'inno d'Italia?
D'altronde adesso abbiamo buoni rapporti con l'Austria...

When you understand the technique/algorithm/modeling, but have no clue about the domain.
I noticed one thing after a lot of people came here from Twitter.
People are using #hashtags a lot!
I have not used Twitter extensively and thus never got used to them, but here on Mastodon the use of hashtags is generally limited as well.
People generally add one or two hashtags at the beginning or the end of the toot in order to make it searchable.
People who arrived here from Twitter are using a bunch of hashtags, most of those are words inside the sentences they're writing.
Sometimes there's even more hashtags than actual words...
I'm not sure about this approach, it may just be me, since I'm not used to this style.
But I feel that tagging the toot with a couple categories at the end is better:
- it makes the toot more readable
- the categories are immediately recognizable
- you don't have to use specific words in your sentence just for the tagging
Finally reading an introductory article about Particle Swarm Optimization.
It's been on my to-do list for way too long, it's very interesting and my first introduction to social optimization algorithms.
The article I found is quite nice, simple to understand and broadly outlines some modifications and alternatives to this method.

Fellow site admins, is there a good working way out there to share domain blocks? It’s a tricky topic, I know, but it would be nice to share/discuss with other site admins.
Fuck people who forget about timezones!
O had an interview yesterday and I was late due to a timezone mistake... I even asked them to confirm the hour in UTC but apparently they didn't actually check that it was correct.
In the end I had to do a technical interview regarding proteins, machine learning and chemotherapics on a bench in a park, beside some guys who tried to sell me weed in the middle of the interview...
