For English speakers: I'm eating tripe, I'm very happy about it.
This is why I moved to Rome, even though this is not Roman tripe.
Could advanced alien species rearrange the planets in their systems to leave a lasting message of their existence?!?
...yeah, actually...
Ciao a tutti.
@worldsendless
E volavo, volavo felice,
Volare... oh, oh!...
Lispare... oh, oh, oh, oh!
Nel blu dipinto di blu,
Felice di programmare lassù.

Why LISP hasn't won? Simple. Because the world is mediocre.

Editors in Latin America mostly operate diamond #OpenAccess journals, which are not indexed by the monopolists. They recognize bibliography is inadequate and hurts science. Research assessment criteria hurt their journals.

Have you tried Quarto?

Did you know that the green lawn that is so common today was originally a way for the landed gentry to show off their wealth? It was meant to imply the owner could afford to have all this land being non productive, setting them apart from those whose livelihood depended on what they could cultivate.
From the beginning, it was an ostentatious display of obscene wealth.

If you want to sell some bitcoins to these Ukrainians go ahead, this is the email aleksandrbondarenkostal@gmail.com
I hope you don't think this is a #scam that would be horrible: scammers come from Nigeria, not Ukraine
it feels like communication about tech is more abundant than communication about other disciplines. is it because programmers are more likely to blog, and academics are more likely to report via peer-review journal? is it because open access is in its infancy while open source is an institution? it strikes me that it’s maybe 100x easier to read about a working programmer’s experience solving a problem than a graduate student’s experience with a challenge in something like biochemistry. why?
Il grembiule di Alda Merini
Oddio il mio grembiule
guarda come mi torno indietro
