It is absolutely *wild* to me that media organizations still do not put RSS/Atom
feed info front-and-center on their websites.
One needs to dive into HTML code or use external tools to discover their feeds.
It is wild because this is one of the easiest, least-effort ways to reach their audience. Encouraging RSS/Atom use is a phenomenal way of becoming less reliant on gatekeepers like huge social media platforms.

while completely legal for personal use in my country (including sharing the downloaded files with friends or classmates), these sites are very dangerous, offering access to very expensive research papers to everyone without any fees. as a result, they're facilitating the unrestricted flow of knowledge and making an effort to bridge the educational gap between the wealthy and the poor. [ID 1 to 4 : Four pictures of a woodcarved plump red robin seen from different points of view. It sits on a rectangular base with rounded angles. The bird is very round. It is painted with burnt orange for the chest and a mix of brown and grey for the upper body.]
Grazie a @akaCisco e @SmilaBlomma

If we’re doing territorial grabs based on ”who was there first”... we’ll see ourselves in.

Hello @freemo where is the code for qoto hosted now?
The instance links here, but that only goes to v3.5.3 and mentions the repo moved somewhere else.

I ask mainly to understand on what version of mastodon are we.
I have problems with the hashtag subscription: it works in the webpage but using the fedilabs application it does not list existing subscriptions and does not let me add new ones.
The application GitHub has no issues about it, thus I believe this is an instance problem.
I remember qoto had hashtag subscription before Mastodon had, is that maybe related?
The combiflash might have died ("internal fraction collection error: fraction collector is unable to leave front-back home sensor"). First it clogged. And while working the clog out under manual control the system freaked out. One of the rare times I use manual control with fraction collection (and not just direct to waste).
Might have a small amount of material, but to make life more fun the bulk of the product crashed out on the column before this happened. This was a 1 g reaction, late stage of synthesis with many steps. There are 100s of mg of product. That's light sensitive. The column is 120 g with 192 column volume, so manual elution with a syringe isn't going to be a thing (my largest is 60 mL).
I want to cry. Or break something. I'll take either.
Lol, so are you fucking ready for this?
The US government just amended its Maduro indictment because someone who speaks Spanish finally told them that Cártel de los Soles is a Venezuelan euphemism for corruption and not actually a cartel.
I wish I were making this shit up but it's real. If they convict Maduro after that, you can one and truly know this was not a trial but a real life theatrical performance.

Don't take what I say as an insult, I have no bad intentions and I'm open to talk about it.
Don't star my toots, I find that often useless: if you liked it send a reply.
Consider boosting the toots, it's the only real way in which stuff is propagated through mastodon.
