@popko @LennartMathiassen @alex I don't think it's important to up and leave an instance you have a reasonable presence on, even if it's better, unless you either cannot use it in good conscience, or are banned from another instance.

I might join Game Liberty Club if I ever leave . But there's no reason for me to do that now.

On Infanticide, Dems Use Scarce Tactics by Tony Perkins

You never happened. Imagine sitting down to that headline if you're Melissa Ohden, Gianna Jessen, or one of a thousand other victims the media says don't exist. Vox even put the phrase "abortion survivors" in scare quotes, as if the punctuation would help convince America the documented cases aren't real. Of course, there's a reason Democrats are desperate for people to believe this is a "fake issue." They're hoping the country will ignore their inhumanity. It isn't, and we haven't.Read More

>>Persecutors All over the Map, Christians Warn by Tony Perkins

"We will cut you. We will kill you. We will do anything we want to you." The threat, Arjun and Neha knew, was real. Banished from the village well -- the only source of water -- the family left, carrying what they could hold. They had just become Christians, and like a lot of places in India, the decision to follow Jesus was a dangerous one. "God didn't call me to a life of comfort," one of the persecuted said. "But He does promise to walk with me."Read More

>>A West Coast Sit-Down about Standing by Tony Perkins

Sunday morning, I joined my good friend, Pastor Jack Hibbs, at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills for their three morning services. While I was there, we did something we've never done before: the two of us sat down and had a conversation about how we as followers of Jesus should respond to government and politics. The basis for our discussion wasn't our opinions but what Scripture says.Read More

@georgia Self actualizing is pretty good.

I do self-therapy for time to time; if I'm feeling really down or something, I'll write down my feelings in poetic/rap form. It helps me understand myself better, and figure out what I need to do next, or in some cases, let go of resentment. This is actually something said she does as well.

@LennartMathiassen @alex Which is my qualms with your argument, and indicative of what I see as something pervasive in our society; villification of people we disagree with.

You don't agree with the ideology of Koch, Bin Lade, or Thatcher. Fair enough. But that should not be your standard as far as whether you rejoice when somebody dies.

I didn't rejoice when Elijah Cummings died. I won't rejoice when RBG dies, although that might be tempting for someone of my ilk.

That sort of grave-dancing is only to be reserved for the worst of the worst, IMHO, which holds zero resemblance with.

@georgia IMHO, no, actually. It could actually make things worse.

Physical things won't give you longterm satisfaction. Being rich and saving money won't make you happier.

Personal progression is a good thing. If you know who you want to be, or how you want to feel, that might help with personal development, and discovering what goals you'd like to set.

These days, champion, I'm single. It's everyday bro, and that ain't on the news.

@popko @LennartMathiassen @alex Because he has not insulted me or called me names yet, although I assume the latter is inevitable.
