The only reason I know what General Hospital is is because it was name dropped in that kid's book series about the sisters who were playing outside and being mean to each other and the dad smoked so one time the Mai character made a sign that said "nosmo king".

Also the culture makes being non-cis out to be better than being cisgender. I saw a bit of this in #911onFOX even, a lesbian character was asked if she had a husband, and she corrected him, saying she has a wife, yet when Buck was chilling w/ Eddie and his son, and a woman said to them that their kid is cute (insinuating they're gay), he's like "cool".
This portrayal tells the audience to share your homosexuality and hide your heterosexuality.

I think I understand @a's mania in this whole porn discussion debacle, and it all centers on one word: control.
Torba didn't like Big Tech companies, so he's trying to make his own, pleading with everyone to switch to his own forks of publicly available FOSS, why? So that he has some feeling of control.
And this porn debacle is no different. Here, he's trying to see just how much power he has in the right wing and alt-right community. Everybody on the right, both on @gab and on @Twitter, seem to be amped up over this.
Now that popular YouTubers like The Quartering and David Walsh are getting in on the scrum, he's gotta be feeling pretty good about himself.
