@Xoktz I think it's necessary to maintain a positive outlook; some are predisposed to optimism, others are predisposed to pessimism.
Gloating in negativity often stems from insecurity in someone with low self-esteem who feels the need to put others down in order to feel good about themselves.
In any case, it is best not to be so optimistic that you are blind to the realities of life, but rather to find those negatives & confront them with positives.
There are always good things in the world.
