How come AirPods are wearables but EarPods aren't?

nvm it's back up, to Windows I go!

I will probably stay on Linux for now and use the notes app, saving it on my hard drive. Surely I can upload it to Google Docs later.

Rebooted in Linux, still nothing 😔 Unsure of what to do, as I have class in 30 minutes, use Google Docs for all my notes, and don't relish using my itty bitty phone for the whole class period.

I'd need to get better equipment, as U currently record using my phone, and with my sound card I can't record both microphone input and sound output at the same time, but I plan on getting a mic soon! We will have to schedule a time when I get a mic and make sure that it works.

@technomancy After all, how do you keep a demographic group down? It ain't by giving them jobs, it's by giving them welfare benefits. (You see this in the black community.)

@technomancy I think that this assumes society is in a morally homogeneous state. There are many people who do good for others to no great monetary benefit of their own (or at the very least, minimize profits), from Goodwill and the Salvation Army to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.

If anything, a welfare/nanny state deincentivizes the private sector from helping the needy because "the government'll take care of them", despite the fact that the government is woefully inept at this sort of thing in comparison to the private sector. (compare the VA to Saint Jude's, and 401ks to Social Security).

I do think a safety net is necessary, but it should not support people who don't really need it.

@sda To me the biggest issue with Boomers is that they act like they weren't in charge. Like, if college students are turning out so bad but y'all have been college faculty members for 25 years, maybe you should step down or something.
