There is often a big difference between what people do with passages such as this and what it actually says.
One thing which is NOT taught in this passage is, “I’m saved, therefore I can go about my life and ministry however I want.”
Instead, it’s you listening to The Lord over self and meeting HIM in what HE MAY BE UP TO THROUGH YOU is what is really on the discussion plate.
[Of course, someone born again CAN do anything (see 1 Corinthians 6:12 and 1 Corinthians 10:23) but through only following The Lord is there benefit attached (Galatians 6:7).]
