I left the #apple ecosystem after being a user for 18 years, and doing contracting work via a 3rd party for data storage. 'the privacy company' is really a monopoly marketing machine.

Lol, #apple is afraid it weakens privacy because of interoperability. The company that hands over your data on a silver platter to every agency, and contains one of the most exploited apps (Apple Music). Mind you it took about half a year of calling and emailing to get my data removed from them, which they only did after reminding them that's my right as an EU citizen repeatedly.

Today is Juneteenth, a Federal holiday marking the end to slavery in the United States.

That is all well and good, but did you know Alaskan natives were openly enslaved until 1966? That currently there are roughly 60,000 slaves held in the United States, mostly in nail salons, restaurants, and the garment industry? And there are an uncountable number of slaves held as sex slaves.

Juneteenth isn't a day to claim victory, but a day to remember we still have work to do.
