The LangChain LLM framework is only available in Python and JavaScript. But if you're an R user, Jason Yeung shows how to incorporate LangChain Python code into an R script with the {reticulate} 📦. This lets you include #LangChain in an #rstats workflow.

Time to be a bilingual in programming.
So far I have mostly worked with #rstats but now picking up #python seriously.
Most jobs in #datascience or #analytics nowadays wants Python more than R, but I hate the fact when the job posters fixate too much about the programming language rather than the analytical thinking, problem solving skills etc.
Learning a language is easier. It takes much less effort. But creating and cultivating an analytical mindset is tough. It takes years. That should be rewarded more!
Can I get a little signal boosting help, pls Mastodon? 🙏
I’m looking to fill some free time helping out organisations working for #conservation and #biodiversity.
I have a weird hodgepodge of programming/program management/marketing expertise, and am currently studying towards a MSc in biodiversity and wildlife health. Teeny tiny bit of past conservation NGO experience. Based outside Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Happy to volunteer, in field, or behind a desk, whatever you need.
Weekend run done. But it didn't feel as good as the last two weekend runs.
I guess that's how it goes. Somedays are diamond, somedays are stones.
Also, I think it is time for the new shoes. More than 900kms in this one currently.

When #mist envelopes #Aizawl city, the view makes you feel romantic. The mood is such, it tempts you to grab that glass of 🥃 even if you’re a teetotaler.

Another train collision? What's happening!! Thankfully no casualties.
Hey #orms #operationsresearch folks, if you're comfortable doing so, please consider adding a short description to your profile that says you're an #orms person. This makes it easier to find each other and also easier to know whether to follow someone back after they follow you.
The beauty of doing nothing is so underrated. Often, I would just wake up around 4-4:30. Do my regular chores. And have the coffee while seeing the sunrise. That 15-20 mins of doing nothing, is often the best way to start the day. It is quite refreshing.
@ClaraListensprechen4 at first I thought this is Bruce Springsteen!
Interesting: ProtonMail finally admits that Germany "is a good choice given Germany’s strong privacy laws and culture that make it almost as strong as Switzerland."
For once, we couldn't agree more. 😀
We'd even argue Germany is much better as we do not have data retention laws (which would be against the German constitution) - while in Switzerland large tech companies are forced by law to retain data: https://tutanota.com/blog/posts/data-retention-germany

The rogue 2FA app that steals scanned secrets is now ranked 18 on the German App Store for the productivity category. No wonder! The app disguises as a Microsoft app. It is the top hit when you search for "Microsoft Authenticator" and the developer has updated the screenshots in the ad card to highlight the word "Microsoft". Surprisingly, the product page of the app shows different screenshots with the word "Microsoft" removed.
The app now has 1.2K reviews, as opposed to 18 when we first addressed the app.

@WilliamRamsey My only reason of still having a Twitter account is that all the official news sources are there. Be it the sports teams or the news channels.
Will be tough to quit unless they start moving to Mastodon.
