LOL I just stopped at a Taco Bell in the hood. When I got to the drive-thru window, this sweet little black lady, with genuine concern, says, "Sir, you can't be blastin' that white people music in this neighborhood. You tryin to get mugged?"

review - is a ton of fun. Is it top tier Marvel? No. But is far better (in my opinion) than some of the other movies (I'm looking at you Love and Thunder). was FANTASTIC as , and is as charming as ever - and we get to see a different side of Scott Lang to boot! His relationship with Cassie is on full display and I ate it up. The supporting characters were all on their game. I plan on seeing it again in the theater.

Some of the things I have heard from critics I really like just seem objectively incorrect. I do not understand the critic ratings at all.

@blorgons "thunderdome avocado bricklord" is by far the best description of a bloater I have ever heard....

Challenger disaster, weird dreams

@queenofnewyork I was actually there when it happened. My dad let me skip school so we could drive up there. Unfortunately, something I will never forget. At the time I was adamant that I would be an astronaut. :(

The first picture is this is AI art created from the following prompt:
"A Happy Boston Terrier laying on a tile floor with a green squeaky toy in the shape of a bone in front of him."
The second picture is the picture of the late, great that I was describing.

“Superman: Legacy”

Set to open on July 11, 2025, “Superman: Legacy” will mark “the start of the ,” as Safran put it, but it will not be an origin story of the proverbial Man of Steel.

“It focuses on balancing his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing,” Safran said. “He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way. He is kindness in a world that thinks of kindness as old-fashioned.”

Gunn is writing the project, and Safran said he hopes Gunn “can be persuaded, perhaps, to direct it as well.” (Gunn, sitting right next to Safran, remained uncharacteristically poker faced in response.)

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav made no secret that rebooting Superman was a top priority for the company as he spent much of 2022 searching for the right leaders for DC Studios. So it’s little surprise Gunn and Safran are turning to the most recognizable superhero in the world to lead the charge for the DCU.

“‘Superman’ is for everyone,” Gunn said. “That’s a four quadrant film that should speak to everyone in the world.”
