@leshoshin@framapiaf.org Interesting the FTC antitrust investigation into Qualcomm ended shortly afterwards.

covid

@namark I put it near the end where people would read it.

covid

@namark I kept the paragraph in the OP on the nature of the vaccine short because that was not what OP was about.
It was about forcing the vaccine on people.

[Quote RT Candace Owens :verified: @realcandaceo] [RT @mrst106]

“We will be looking at what contract tracing looks like in the New World Order.”

Is the Australian government trying to rile everyone up or do they just want everyone to know that they no longer care about keeping their ambitions secret?

This is insanity.

@Doc_0: "Vaccination rates were damaged in the long run by misleading people into thinking the vaccines prevent coronavirus transmission, rather than reducing the severity of infection. (Yes, that impression was definitely given, no matter how much revisionists claim nobody ever said it.)"

@namark @swiley people are not apt to admit their mistakes. and now they feel bamboozled with all that codid hoax. but they won't tell you the truth and simply admin they were foolish. they will stand on this till the bitter end, defenting the lies. even if this look totally nonsensical. because they don't want to look wrong. so don't insist. you won't get them even now when it's clear the whole thing was a plain scam.

covid

@namark It's not, otherwise Israel would be covid free, we wouldn't have the variants, the deaths from the vaccine wouldn't be orders of magnitude so far than every other vaccine combined, and it wouldn't matter if some people elected not to take the vaccine. It's not rhetoric, it's supported by facts. Your initial response ignored the third paragraph which was the point of the post and was almost entirely rhetorical.

covid

@namark There were too discussions here:
1) The morality of forcing people to take an dangerous and experimental drug (the main discussion)
2) An irrelevant side discussion about the efficacy of the drug. I have said, since the first post, that this is irrelevant.

covid

@namark I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but it sounds like you're just mad because I'm right.

covid

@namark This whole thread is political. I pointed that out in OP.

covid

@namark Look at Israel. It turns out it wins in the end if everyone takes the vaccine too.

covid

@namark No. My argument is that you have no right to force people to take drugs. Their effectiveness is irrelevant.

covid

@namark In addition, many people argue that the vaccines make the covid situation *worse* because of the evolutionary pressure it puts in the virus. This is why we've seen so many variants this year and not last year.

covid

@namark The immunity provided by the vaccines is very weak, you still carry the virus, experience symptoms, and infect others.

Also, you've written nothing but political rhetoric and you don't have a right to not get sick when you go outside, that's not how the world works.

covid

@namark If the vaccine worked weather I took it or not would be irrelevant.
Even if you were right (you're not) it's *absolutely* unacceptable to force drugs on people.

@metalune@fosstodon.org I'd bet on the other side, how do you want to decide who wins?
