BTW, I also think the world could be _saved_ [with the contents of a floppy disk](https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/tht7z2/terrorizing_the_world_1_mb_at_a_time/):
The blueprint for a cold fusion reactor (or similarly amazing energy source)
+
instructions for specific genetic interventions that would eliminate [intense suffering](https://www.preventsuffering.org/) in [all sentient beings](https://www.hedweb.com/)
+
summaries of the zeitgeist in the fields of moral philosophy and political economy one thousand years from now
+
the irrefutable proof of the existence, or the non-existence, of a god with specific characteristics

dark humour, religious offence, link to sexually explicit images
I say [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/tht7z2/terrorizing_the_world_1_mb_at_a_time/) is still possible in 2023:
[The cartoon that would most offend the greatest number of Islamists (NSFW)](https://www.google.com/search?q=&tbm=isch&hl=en-US&tbs=rimg:CeW7-nj3wgQwYZCuIBE96j7KsgIAwAIA2AIA4AIA&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiS1v-u2_T_AhUQaqQEHXeEBO8QkYoICAE)
+
a modern version of [Stuxnet](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stuxnet) capable of firing ICBMs or triggering false positives in defence systems
+
a deep fake of Vladimir Putin torturing Tom Hanks under the dome of an Al-Aqsa Mosque taken by Jewish settlers while newscasts on the background show Chinese troops landing on Taiwan

Don't try this at home.

Why do I impose such difficult #reads on myself?
1. Some #books are way better than others, were much more original when published, or have a much larger influence today.
1. My own taste, my personal bubble's recommendations, and current trends — none of them are reliable indicators of quality.
1. Books that seem huge today may be forgotten in a decade; what persists for generations or even centuries is more likely to be worth reading.
1. The opportunity cost of reading _“Trendy Fantasy Saga”_ instead of _“Universal Masterpiece Of Five Centuries Ago”_ may be high.

This proves that strong criticism of modern #feminism is not a fringe position in 2023 by any means, and that _even among women_ and _even among the youngest generation_ a large proportion of people (ranging from ⅓ to ½) are sceptical, resisting, or noticing discrimination against #men.
It's [a 32-country survey of 22+K adults](https://www.ipsos.com/en-us/international-womens-day-global-opinion-remains-committed-gender-equality-half-now-believe-it) by #Ipsos (the world’s third largest research agency) and the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership (King’s College London).
Not all aggregates are representative because some countries with large populations (eg India, China, Indonesia) probably skew less feminist than others. But even the figures for specific Western democracies (and those _are_ accurate) show less than clear enthusiasm, even from women themselves.
This will be surprising.
To some people.
The World Health Organisation groups all causes of death into three large categories.
