Meanwhile, Ron DeSantis in Florida is not going to model legislation route. He is blazing a unique trail of unbridled fascism, including disenfranchisement of voters, takeover of state universities by hand-picked right wing cronies, including Christopher Rufo (the liar who started the critical race theory panic), banning of Black history, and the complete censorship of all non-curriculum reading material from every K-12 classroom in the state.

I need to watch the Beatles get back documentary at some point, however watching a few videos about this had George Harrison insist on Bringing in Billy Preston, a Black musician from Texas, to help record Get back. He had a huge smile on his face and looked really happy. What happened here is that his influence seem to galvanise the group to keep going with the project, so in a way he saved it from going off the rails. So did a black musician save the Beatles, perhaps. Great stuff, he had huge amounts of energy, but he was 22, so injected something really positive vibes.

Thing about sports is people remember the BIG names, or those who win a superbowl ring or MVP and we forget about the fact it is a team sport.

it s breaking out side of the bubbles of interest, so not just say looking at Black people with in the Space Programme or physics but those who did other things and knowing about MLK, is important.
