I had not noticed issues with stability, but it does show the need for development and there is a federated alternative to TikTok too.
Given the impending ban on TikTok and the situation on twitter with only those with blue ticks being able to engage in a meaninful way, are we anticipating another big migration to the fediverse.
Peertube could end up as the next tik tok with lots of users joining or self hosting.

If we can mass farm Octopus and other fish, why can't we use technology to find ways to restock populations of animals in the sea or land generally?
I agree with this too, not a luddite, but we do need to ensure that AI moves forward in the right direction, and I guess humans stay in control. AI can be very helpful but technology can also be abused so safeguards really do need to be in place.

Yes, but I think 16% ethanol kills normal yeast, so yield will only be 16%, hence distillation,
I think they have just created or found a new yeast that is more efficient, not fully sure on that, it was most likely posted here as a link to what is probably a paper on this < a week ago.

Interestingly one day we may be able to do something similar to that, given if we can run a car on Ethanol then adding yeast to orange juice and fermenting you would end up with alcoholic orange juice, this could perhaps be distilled and used as fuel.
Ok there is a lot more to it than that, but we need to find alternative fuel sources for vehicles, then it would be interesting to see which fruit could make the best fuel for an internal combustion engine.
I got the impression that Gasoline is a refined petroleum, hence they call it gas for short. In the UK we can fill the car up with 'Juice' so in this context Juice is a nickname for Petrol or fuel. Juice can also I think refer to electrical power, give it more Juice = turn the power level up.
This may however be limited to certain areas where these terms have become more a local part of the language.
