The Critical infrastructure Lab is launching next week in Amsterdam, with the mission of researching power and contestation in global digital infrastructures.
The lab is doing a two day launch event, during which our @openfuture team will organize a session with a title that I hope is a bit surprising: “imagining the future: what should the next european commission do?”.
Yes, while many people imagine whether #AI will become sentient or not, we are interested in the digital policy programmes of the next European Commission(s).
Why? Because policymaking is world building. Because European regulation is shaping the world in powerful ways. And we want to imagine together, where it should be going.

There is now more evidence of the harm we are doing, problem is kids don't seem capable of focusing on something for very long either, they seem to want instant results, which when it comes to science experiments isn't always going to be the case.
I certainly notice at code club the lack of risk taking, to get out of their usual bubble of software and use say a Linux desktop, even though that is a user interface to use software such as python editors which are the same editors you install with windows.

This is crazy, I can ony guess that this being that it targets the LGBTQA+ communities. However, surely there are OTHER reasons people may wear make up, one being perhaps to help cover up medical or other scars / blemishes on the body for example.
