@zleap Don't use Google any more for search, except very rarely, and haven't in a number of years and I definitely don't get my news through them. But we still say "googling" as a synonym for searching in my house. A person who's good at search keywords is said to have good "Google-fu" too...I think the google=search bridge was crossed a long time ago. But yeah, the meme-ification of things impacts our perceptions. Which is why I am somewhat careful on what I share.
Agreed, the Link I posted from the BBC about google and privacy has the line
"The class action sought at least $5bn (£3.9bn) from the world's go-to search engine and parent company Alphabet."
So the fact they say
"world's go-to search engine"
May not seem very much or significant, until you start thinking on a subliminal level this sort of text works as a way to make people think google = search.

@zleap There are sectors of the Netanyahu administration that would like to do just that...They've tried to shush them some in the news, but I've seen some of the comments...
Of course they green light this, they will take over Gaza and then decide how the aid is distributed.
I wish my local team had a 53 player roster, to be honest a 30 player roster would be nice

Well, we have found better and more barbaric ways to kill / treat each other.
Perhaps a good counter headline to go with this could be:
Immigrants to take jobs of locals because locals are so thick they spread nonsense and are too lazy or stupid to find out facts.
I am guessing all this is just spreading on facebook., tik tok etc, as in the usual suspects.

Lets hope people are sensible enough to STAY AWAY from the coast or at least stay away from sea walls, etc, where they face being swept in to the sea, and the volunteers at the RNLI need to risk their lives to save people involved in preventable incidents.
