No scientific organization has declared the pandemic is over. Classifying the pandemic is in another phase is very different.
WHO leaders continue to say that COVID-19 is still a pandemic, and a global health threat.

Good point, as Mastodon is one part of the fediverse, and saying fediverse is preferred, as it referes to any of the many services, we perhaps need a common verb that fits.
