One of the most depressing things about the range of quiz shows on TVs is the number of men who profess to be interested in #sport & nothing else (and then go on to demonstrate how true this is through the startling lack of general knowledge).

It reminds my of Noam Chomsky's remark that if men spent the energy & time used up talking & analysing baseball players & teams' form, on #politics, there would be a revolution in America.
