Given the level of misogamy in school is blamed partly on the influence of the Tate Brothers, why has this list of charges not included radicalisation?
Ok it may not be a perfect replacement but matrix is great and has no ads.

Perhaps the solution is to teach people respect for self and respect for others, personal responsibility and responsibility for others as well as rights, and accountability, consent and that NO means NO.
Perhaps if we were also more relaxed and less prudish abouyt nudity, then we would be less obsessed with how we look as we would not be judged, we could be accepted by others more, we currently send a message that nudity = sexual which is not the case (unless you make it sexual)
I agree with the point you have made here, these rules are a lot to do with data collection and tracking people on line, which won't solve anything and will push people underground and won't solve the problem of sexual material being out there.l
This wider action is not about porn. This is about building a system of tracking Internet use of everyone, adults or children.

@anildash I think we need to collectively grapple with the fact that the modern internet has been built on ad-tech.
We failed to treat software as infrastructure and instead submitted to a technological land grabbing exploitation that makes the aztec gold pale in comparison.
Alas, such is the sweet poison of consumerism, always making you a tiny bit complicit in enjoying its fruits, while offloading all its externalities on to the public, where "someone else's problem" is you.
📣 We are looking for a Windows C++ developer to help us with resolving some Windows issues, especially multi-monitor setups and CLI.
None of the current dev team is a Windows user. If there is not much interest from the community to upkeep the Windows side, we might end up dropping support for windows at some point.

Note the number of good news stories from India. While the US and UK are failing, Indian policy-makers are doing a lot of good.

Sounds interesting and why not take these plays and explore how else they can be presented and performed?

if that helps,
Incredible new #JWST deep field (120 hours!) released by folks from ESA/NASA Webb teams.
Not only is nearly everything in this image a galaxy (the two spiky stars are not), but those curved arcs are images of galaxies beyond this cluster, which are projected and warped into our view thanks to the power of gravity!
It's called a gravitational lens. To visualise what's happening, take a look at this diagram.
There are distant galaxies that we can't normally see. There's also a galaxies between them and us, with lots of mass.
This mass warps space-time and bends the distant galaxy light towards us so we see them.
I am amazed. You should be amazed. This is a really epic image.

300 French-speaking writers, including Alice Zeniter, Leïla Slimani, J.M.G. Le Clézio, Virginie Despentes, and Mohamed Mbougar Sarr, have signed an open letter calling for sanctions against Israel over the ongoing ‘genocide’ in Gaza.
The headline of the letter, published in French newspaper Libération, reads: “We can no longer be satisfied with the word ‘horror’; today we must name the ‘genocide’ in Gaza”.

Criticism of Israeli war crimes isn't anti-semitism. This essay on Israel's war crimes was penned by, let me see, oh, Israel's former Prime Minister.
BBC news today almost all from Liverpool and the horiffic incident, even though very little detail is relased or known as yet.
Meanwhile, Sky News, carried the report of the school in Gaza being bombed, and the pictures of the young girl trapped in side, while others BURNED alive, this barely seems to be making the BBC headlines today.
Usual IDF Narrative the school was some sort of Hamas Command centre, the full evidence for which I assume will be presented ASAP.
Perhaps the BBC need to report on this, then get back to people on what happened in Liverpool when we know somethign, rather than asking several people the same question, all of whom gave the same answer as they didn't know the full facts either.
What happens if the UK does not, will this collective of 800 people ensure the Uk government is hauled before the ICC and prosecuted, and guarentee long prison terms ? If not then this statement is pretty meaningless.
"The UK must impose sanctions on the Israeli government and its ministers and also consider suspending it from the UN to meet its “fundamental international legal obligations”, more than 800 lawyers, academics and retired senior judges, including former supreme court justices, have said."
