I saw an article on Click (BBC TV) about chatGPT, sure it wrote a passage of text, however it just wrote the text, surely you would have to cite where you got your information from, even if writing in your own words, you may look something up and from a variety of sources.

Who knows what will happen with Twitter and Mastodon, but the fact that *so* many people, including influential journalists, have had a peek into what decentralized social media can look like & do is huge and has transformative potential, especially in terms of countering Nazis.
Which raise the question as to what he has actually achieved vs his intention? other than the destruction of a social media platform turning it from somewhere millions of people were happy to be into something that got so toxic they left in large nummbers also a place where talented and loyal staff were, but were then stabbed in the back when sacked.
Problem for anyone who takes over is that you won't get those people back but will still need to meet legal obligations for Moderating content or dealing with abuse for example.
How do we convince people about doing this, most seem to have their head in the sand regarding technology.

It will be interesting to compare traditional tobacco with the newer Vaping technology on this.
Itv coverage in the4 UK seems to be from 13:30 to 18:00 so the game is from 15:00 to 16:45 (allowing for 15 mins 1/2 time)
The same amount of time is usually given over for Superbowl coverage which DOES last several hours.

@smallcircles I don't think Mastodon can just be taken over in the same way, as we are decentralised.
Corporates can have a instance on here and follow the same culture, rules and lore as everyone else.

Water-based circuit concept switches much faster than semiconductors.
Short laser pulse is fired into the water jet with iodide ions dissolved into it bumps electrons out of the dissolved salts, essentially boosting the conductivity of the water.
A second laser can read back what state the water is in, providing the “on” and “off” options of an existing transistor.
Because the laser pulse is so fast, the water can switch states in a matter of picoseconds.

So I understand that the bird site has started blocking links to common/known Mastodon instances, and that doesn't seem like free speech to me. So... I did a thing.
If you go to https://spacekaren.sucks it is now a URL shortener that blocks the twitter user agent. That means you can share that link that will redirect to your Mastodon account without the pouty baby stopping you.
