Just sharing about this on my blog. I will also try and share on the UK STEM Ambassador forums, to try and get more people from the UK on the website.
#FebFems is an online tool for #STEM students who identify as female to connect with peers as mentors, to find inspiration, or to just make new connections in the #Science community.

One of the key events that put Europe on the path to World War Two began 100 years ago today: the invasion of the Ruhr. #history
Not good, eco systems such as this are essential.
‘Last nail in the coffin’: Utah’s Great Salt Lake on verge of collapse. It’s lost 73% of its water and is unable to sustain some wildlife – and could soon negatively affect human health.

If we can't hold Trump accountable, how are we ever going to hold Putin and others accountable. At least after WWII the world had the ability to find, put on trial and punish those responsible for crimes against humanity.

Surely someone, at Tesla, is at fault here, it seems Elon is only capable of sacking the engineers who are competent, e.g at twitter. What is going on at Tesla, cars are killing machines so lives are at risk here, they need to get it right, but there has been concerns about tesla cars for years it seems.
This seems to be happening more and more often recently we are under attack where are the COBRA meetings ?
Good idea on keeping them sandboxed, I dumped Twitter in November, stopped using FB decade + ago.
I appreciate people need them despite what goes on with data or in the case of twitter all the hate.
Hopefully fedi will be more of a space space for people so they CAN move over slowly.
Hmm that also loooks like it could double up as a model of an impact crater,
Now there is an idea, edible science :) It works with Donuts representing the event horizon and curvature of space time in a black hole. Study then eat, as studying makes one need food.
They need to make some sort of noise. However with electric cars I am sure the volume can be limited
It is people who rev up cars or have very noisy exhausts that cause a good few issues.
Motorbikes are a law unto them selves, Bikers blame everyone else when there is a problem in some cases THEY are the issue
Don't get me stared on taxi drivers, another lot that think they own the roads.
The sooner we can get rid of cars or at least prioritise cycling ;/ walking the better, oh and public transit would have more space.
You didn’t notice a block of #mastodon instances go dark yesterday with the outage of a major European backbone host provider (OVH) because the #fediverse is so distributed and decentralized. But if you’ve got a flight in the USA today then you know exactly what happens when a centralized software service goes down. #FAA
I use both, chrome supports WebGL which is needed for Scratch, also Writefull plug in for Overleaf needs chrome.
Having the option is useful.
Elon Musk's drop in fortunes could break record https://bbc.in/3X52ApG
@zleap The noise from the tires in the road is enough at most speeds to let people know a car is coming :)
But yeah, noise pollution is always forgotten and I personally believe it’s one of the main causes of people being bastards to each other. When you spend your whole day surrounded by ambiant noise and roaring motors, you can’t be nice, empathetic or even just discuss things calmly…
