STATEMENT:
The scientific community know sea levels will rise, people will be displaced, and food resources will diminish. But I work on the small things, the ocean's plankton, and we are already seeing climate shifts in these organisms. How those changes will affect the global ocean is something we really can't answer — and that scares me. For example, the fact that we're seeing tropical species all the way down the east coast of Australia means massive changes are occurring. However, we currently can't predict the exact impact of these shifts.
Another example is that climate change will create winners and losers — there'll be some species that get wiped out, and some that will become prolific. Will it be the toxic algal species that are going to survive?
There will come a time when we need to have answers, when these changes will greatly challenge humanity.

It's now TWO YEARS and 40 days since Donald Trump's Jan 6 terrorist attack. In any other first world country he'd already be charged with crimes. Instead Trump is now running for President where he's actively spewing more lies to delegitimize our democracy. INDICT TRUMP!

Rather than taking a hostile reaction, it may be better, at least in the first instance to correct the vocabulary used and suggest an alternative.
Positive reinforcement, works, e.g
"Thank you for not running" to a group of children where some are walking sensibly others are running, focuses the attention of the wanted behaviour, saying Don't run doesn't give them the instruction, as they can then hop or skip down the corridor and argue it isn't running, as an adult you are backed in a corner at that point.
When it comes to LGBT we get tha, GGBTQ, LGBTQ+ LGBTQA+ and many others, which is kinda confusing which to use.
Can someone explain why he isn't locked up in somewhere like Rikers ?

#today I confirmed that, all being well, I should start volunteering with the Woodland Trust at the beginning of March.
Also, I've been waiting a long time (since 2021 - they screwed up with the waiting list last year) for some surgery, and I rang to see what was happening today. Eventually, after being sent around different departments, I unexpectedly got an pre-operation appointment for this coming Friday. Progress, suddenly!
And then I went for a walk to a nearby medieval deer park (which is part of the woods where I'll be volunteering).

This sounds good to me, I think Chris Trottier @atomicpoet has highlighted a few issues with browsers, that perhaps with the developer might of Mozilla they can be sorted or features just implemented to make the UX better.

Looks like the approach will be three-fold:
1. Set up a Mozilla instance
2. Study and learn about the Fediverse
3. Build new initiatives based on ActivityPub
Before building new tech, Mozilla wants to be an active participant in the Fediverse and learn from it—not go pushing its weight around like a gorilla.
