Tesla terminated dozens of workers at its Buffalo a day after workers there announced a unionization drive, the union told the NLRB.
The union said Tesla had illegally fired employees “in retaliation for union activity" and "to terrify everyone.”

A true genius,
There is an episode of The Kenny Everett show where Freddie has to walk on and do something, so he walks on and just jumps in to Kennys arms.
At our local library we can hand in old coats, these are put on a rail with hangers in the entryway so people can pick up and use as needed.
There is a real shortage of mens coats for some reason, so when I handed in 2 a while back they were really grateful, as I am sure is the person(s) who picked them up.
I really hope that this sort of thing carries on, we are in a cost of living crisis yes, but post that, it helps recycling and reuse of useful items.

16 February 1926 | A German Jewish girl, Margot Frank, Anne's older sister, was born in Frankfurt.
She and her family left Germany to the Netherlands. In 1942 the family went into hiding in Amsterdam. After being arrested in the fall of 1944, the sisters together with their parents - Otto & Edith - were deported to Auschwitz.
All of them were registered in the camp. Edith Frank perished in Auschwitz. Margot & Anne died in Bergen-Belsen in February 1945 because of typhus. Only Otto survived.

Woke up this morning to find I had left some homemade ice cream on the counter last night, and it was lemon so it had curdled. I then tried to make a frozen pizza so I would have something to take for lunch (I only prepped for 3 days of lunch this week on Sunday) and found out the hard way this brand should not be placed directly on the oven rack.
Part of me is strongly leaning towards just going to back to bed and pulling the covers over my head so nothing else goes messily wrong today.
I don't have much experience of this sort of thing, but run through the talk / slides, make notes on timings so you are really prepared as you would with an inperson talk.
I am not sure what is easer, in person where people can see you, or online where people can see just your head (maybe) in front of the camera.
You can do this, be positive.
A judge who is not afraid to speak their mind when it comes to these racists.

The teenager who went to Tops grocery in Buffalo last year to shoot black Americans was sentenced today. The judge said to the shooter:
“There is no place for you or your ignorant, hateful, and evil ideologies in a civilized society. There can be no mercy for you, no understanding, no second chances. The damage you have caused is too great and the people you have hurt are too valuable to this community. You will never see the light of day as a free man ever again”
