Hiding media gives the other person a choice, however end users can set their account to hide anyway so the person posting does not need to set any flags, they can if they wish. If a user hides everything then reads a post which would have a description or idea of what the picture is, they then have a choice to click and reveal image.
I think putting that power in the hands of the user is a good idea.

My daughter’s 11 grade lit class is reading Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale right now. We were discussing how it is a dystopian book that has parallels to current events. She said her classmates were comparing the things happening today compared to the book as well. Thank goodness WA state education authorities are still allowing them to read and openly discuss this important topic. #Bookbans #Books

Also make sure to install Peertube on its own subdomain or domain, one that you own.
Having done OU courses, you get several course books, so I guess main book is like the lectures, but once you have gone through a section, you have extra reading or watching videos / listening to audio to do, this adds to the basic information presented in the main course book.
Perhaps Universities need to make it clear that university is about lectures and study or schools need to prepare people better for univeristy / life out side school.
Even better if you are going to university do some research as to what is expected of you as a student.
