If I wanted to mess around with ActivityPub c2s clients what's a server I can host that has support for it?
On a serious note, this is a good idea, perhaps go back to the clandestine world of secret messages, meetings and how to pick up / drop papers in a way that is seemless so someone else picks them up, e.g
drop paper with info on table
place newspaper on top
pick both up and walk away
The sort of thing you hear about with secret agents, also learn hand signals,
stock up on floppy disks and usb floppy drives, so info can be moved around.
I think people know what I am getting at here, even tne use of uuencode/decode etc. It is enough to get info out to people through means most would not notice.

We must not buy into the Republican Fascist narrative which is premised on the First American Civil War. On that story, a Second American Civil War could only be officially begun by secessionist states militarily attacking the U.S. federal military. But the Second American Civil War will, I predict, be seen by historians as having begun differently: with the U.S. federal military being sent to attack in U.S. states whose people and governments oppose Republican Fascism. 11/11

How would reporting people who block you help, if we take person A who is black, person B who is white (Say a Maga supporter) and Person C who is also white but well educated and not racist)
If person B calls Person A something racist, person A is withinn their rigth to simply block them, BUT person C is also within their right to block person C because that persons language.
If Person B then reports A and C for blocking them what happens, oh you're both harrassing me, if the moderator fails to act on B properly they risk defederation, or a poor reputation.
Person A should NEVER have to justify blocking a racist and should not be subjected to more problems for doing so.
You end up in a situation where you can't win. It also makes people less likely to report that behaviour.
Perhaps that is an over simplification or I am mis interpreting something?
Racism has no place on Mastodon.
Dawlish in Devon, UK is famous for it's black swans, I am sure that someone must have at some point researched this collected, DNA from both white and black swans to determine if black swans are a distinct species or the same. (I am not sure on the right vocabulary). So there may be some research in to this.
