Hey, #fediverse! I'm doing some research on the uses of Federated software by non-governmental organizations. I'm curious to see if NGOs use federated tools (especially Mastodon, but any fedi tools) to organize outside of corporate systems (e.g., Google, FB).

But, the West suffers for telling others what to do in ignorance of who they are and what they need.

That was the lesson of the Vietnam experience, I think: the solutions that work in suburban America may not work so good in other nations.

Facebook is using its army of lawyers to create a Trojan Horse into GDPR law so that they can just demand anybody's private information from any company using the loop hole of "legitimate interest".

The way i see it if an employee is acting in a way that warrants a drug test then thet should be fired if they are on drugs or not. If they werent negligent the drug test is moot.
