The United States has used its veto power in the UN Security Council 42 times against resolutions condemning Israel - on a total of 83 occasions on which it has exercised its veto power.
Half of all US vetoes were made because of Israel.

The problem with the barrage of mixed signals teenage boys receive about how to define masculinity, is that if you’re a mature, confident man, YOU’RE NOT CONSTANTLY RANTING ABOUT WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A MAN. That’s just not something most grown-ups do.
This means that the strongest signals coming through online are from the toxic bigots who are going on about it all the time.
So now here I am, a guy talking online about how to define masculinity.

The UN Secretary-General has called on Israel to cease its military operation in the occupied West Bank.
Israel must "immediately" end its large-scale military offensive in the occupied West Bank, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said Wednesday, after 11 Palestinians were killed and several more injured.
Guterres strongly condemned "the loss of lives, including of children," and called for "an immediate cessation of these operations."

@Melissabeartrix It was a valuable early lesson acquired at relatively low cost. That lesson being: anyone can be misgendered, and society exacts harsh retribution/consequences on those who don't perform gender "right," and that's NOT right, so we should all band together to destroy gender-normative & binary-gender expectations, norms, rules, and laws.
