I don’t know if this helps but it gives me hope so I will share it with you: my almost 80 year old, christian, very conservative and brexity Mum in England (we hardly agree on anything) told her friend in no uncertain words she had to accept her teenage grandchild (the friends’ grandchild) who is trans. She is prepared to lose a 40 year old friendship over this, as that kid deserves to be accepted as they are.
